Near about 30 has died while battling with forest fire that broke out in southwest mountain of China including with 27 firefighters, according to the reports of state media. The firefighters were sent to battle with blaze that broke out on Saturday in Liangshan Yi autonomous prefecture, Southwest China’s Sichuan province.
According to the officials, 30 persons have been counted as missing after a sudden change in wind direction caused “a huge fireball”. Local authorities of firefighting sent 689 personnel to tackle with fire which broke out at about 6 pm at an altitude of about 3,800 meters.
Firefighters are still trying to contain the blaze. A team sent by the Ministry of Emergency Management has arrived in Muli County in Liangshan to coordinate the rescue efforts.
Apart from that a different fire took under control on Sunday that broke out two days ago in the northern province Shanxi. Fortunately, no damage has reported from fire, but 9000 people has been evacuated from the homes. PTI
