Chandigarh : Family of woman drug officer Neha Shorie that was shot dead in Kharar met with Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh at his residence. After family’s request to the Punjab CM has order to Director, Bureau of Investigation Parbodh Kumar to probe the murder case of Kharar Licensing Authority Zonal.
Family of murder woman officer met Punjab CM at his residence and requested to shifting the investigation out to Mohali district. Accepting families request Captain Amarinder has given the probe to senior IPS officer Parbodh Kumar who has 14 years of experience in CBI on murder cases.
According to the information, CM has also order to Chief Secretary to probe for lapse for issuing the revolver license to accused Balwinder Singh by Ropar Distrcit Police and District Magistrate and order CS for weapon also.
Chief Minister made it clear that nobody would be allowed to interfere or intimidate any public servant in the discharge of their duties, and assured Neha’s family of justice.
